After years of practicing architecture throughout the United States and around the globe with international firms HOK and SmithGroup, Clay Vogel formed Kazia Design Collaborative in 2006. Based in Chicago, Kazia Design Collaborative found quick and lasting success in China’s growing market. After two years of collaboration with Li Chunguang in China, Clay and Li founded KaziaLi Design Collaborative (KaziaLi). We are a unique design firm that has true integration between our United States and China offices. Our research-based, cross-cultural design approach allows us to design and complete successful large-scale projects within China. Selections of KaziaLi’s work have been showcased in a variety of architectural magazines, including BD+C (USA), FUTURARC (Singapore), and Chicago Architect. In 2008, Clay Vogel was chosen a “40 under 40” superstar by BD+C.
